ABCIC is organizing a two-day training workshop on socio-economics and morphological data analysis as from 10-12th March 2014 at Hillpark Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop will focus on morphological characterization of crop diversity using cluster and principal component analysis. There will be another parallel session on socio-economic data analysis.
The workshop has been organized under the project “Varietal diversification to manage climate risk in East Africa” a project funded by CCAFS through Bioversity International. It will be attended by project partners from KARI/National Genebank of Kenya, TPRI/National Plant Genetic Resources Centre (Tanzania) and Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania).
